Abstrakt (pl)
Książka zwraca uwagę na rolę, jaką odgrywa szkoła w procesie budowania tożsamości młodzieży i podejmowania przez nią wyborów związanych z przyszłością (zawodową i prywatną). Autorzy poszczególnych rozdziałów prezentują systemy oświatowe trzech krajów: Niemiec, Holandii i Stanów Zjednoczonych, w których podobne problemy rozwiązywane są na różne sposoby. Konfrontując doświadczenia tych państw w zakresie oświaty, autorzy starają się wypracować nowe, lepsze rozwiązania dla edukacji w Polsce. Praca ta doskonale włącza się do międzynarodowej dyskusji na temat kształcenia przez szkołę świadomych, wartościowych obywateli. Publikacja szczególnie polecana dla pedagogów, którzy odnajdą w niej wiele propozycji rozwiązań systemowych, dzięki którym będzie możliwe ulepszanie polskiego systemu oświatowego.
Abstract (en)
The articles presented in this volume fit into the mainstream of considerations about space determining sciences about education of levels that constitute a field of an interdisciplinary humanistic discourse. These considerations are both cognitively inspiring and up‐to‐date with a society. The narrations presented take up the subject of the important and deepening field of research in pedagogy problems linked with the development of this discipline as a science and – what is worth emphasizing – science that is also oriented on the interdisciplinary profile of its identity. The topics, that the authors write about, are often presented with a wide social, cultural and historical conditioning in the background. The texts presented take readers into the sphere of pedagogical explorations, they give a chance to experience a certain intellectual community, through referring to fringe sciences and, thus, they constitute a multicontextual way to look at an educational reality.
